CAPP is a CivicTech tool that serves as a two-way communications channel between the government and its citizens, facilitating a more informed, engaged, and accountable democratic process, as CAPP aspires to empower the Nigerian citizens to be a proactive participant in shaping our nation’s future. CAPP is not affiliated or represent any government entity or agency. We are committed to ensuring the privacy and confidentiality of your information in compliance with Nigeria’s legal requirements and best practices in cybersecurity to enable us achieve the objectives of the office of the citizens.

We collect and store information that you voluntarily provide to us when using our app or website. This includes:
  • Basic Contact Information: Name, phone number, address, email, and National Identification Number (NIN) to validate your citizenship and provide personalized services.
  • Additional Information: Information provided during feedback, polls, surveys, or interactions with our support team.

We will adhere to the GDPR timescales which are 1 month as the maximum to completely finalise the process. CAPP does not charge any fee for processing any requests of this nature. Please note, we may ask you for further proof of your identity before sharing any personal data about you that we hold.

    All information and shared on CAPP including the Nigeria constitution are public and open source documents, published by the Federal Government of Nigeria through the National Orientation Agency and were listed for civic education purpose.
